celebaholic

“my name is gina and i am a celebrity-news-aholic.”

i have a confession to make. i am obsessed with celebrity news, or more accurately, celebrity “news.” on my tivo to be set to be recorded every day at 7 and 7:30 pm on 2 different channels are extra, access hollywood, the insider and entertainment tonight. i remember watching entertainment tonight ever since i was in elementary school which proves to me that i was not only exposed to this disgusting habit early on in life, but that i’ve been a user for close to 20 years. (yikes!) and i also have to admit that when i have time i watch the smuttiest of smutty, TMZ which i also read online pretty religiously. which also leads me to my admission of the fact that i get my celeb-news fix online via my top 4 fave sites. (tmz, perezhilton, eonline and people) only now have i had the bravery to admit the true nature of my habit.

there isn’t any one particular star that i find myself obsessing about, but there are definitely people i DON’T care to know about, like lindsay lohan, anyone in the hulk hogan family, reality show “stars” like lauren conrad or heidi montag, etc. i’m not sure what the deal is and why celeb news is so darn interesting, but i have to say that i doubt i will be quitting and going cold turkey anytime soon.

the best is when you get candid pictures of celebs and they just look so utterly normal and/or hideous. for example:

(i would have put up pics of britney spears, but i don’t think she’s been seen with make up for the past 2 years anyway, so it wouldn’t have been anything new.)

you have to admit that celeb news really is intriguing. right? =/
