game night
occasionally this “i’m way too young to retire from partying, but i find myself leaning towards that direction” girl will stay home on the night that is usually reserved for a fun-filled time complete with drunken debauchery and lewdness, aka friday night. (ok, that might be a stretch…maybe it’s more like “let’s get drunk and dance till our feet can’t take it no more!”) so like i was saying, occasionally on friday nights, i will decline to make the trek to the city and stay in the comfortable confines of the suburbs. on one friday night, not too long ago a few friends and i took part in what would be considered the ultimate suburb, old white person night: board game night. this night was complete with my macbook serving as our deejay (thank you itunes radio!), sitting cross-legged on the floor surrounding my coffee table, and a handful of board games there to tickle our funny bones as our hearts desired. though it was nothing like your typical friday night, it was actually quite fun and entertaining. (defined the term “good, clean fun”) here are the 2 games we ended up playing:

there’s something that has to be said about nights like this……….totally lame and cheesy but fun, nonetheless.
