hello, nice to meet you, i don’t have herpes…
this is entry no. 1 and since i’m no good at introductions and even worse at small talk, i thought i would write about what’s right now, and right now it’s all about canker sores (not to be confused with the herpes simplex virus) which is way grosser.
see.
ever since i was a kid i got canker sores from staying up too late. my whole life i have had this battled with these red-rimmed, white bastards, but to no avail… =(my poor, super-sensitive and all too thin oral tissue. i’ve tried oral antiseptics, topical anesthesia, even reverse psychology…nothing. that is…until last summer. a saint walked into my sad world and brought with her LYSINE. Lysine is awesome. the miracle vitamin.
today i have 5 canker sores from a month off and on sleep, and Lysine is failing me. i had to look up “Lysine overdose” on web md to make sure i wasn’t killing myself. i took 5 huge pills last night, 5 more this morning and i can’t help but wish i had brought the bottle with me to work. Lysine and i, we are awesome. we were made for each other, (mint to be, par-fect…) we’re having some issues lately, yes, but i have faith that it’s just a phase.
well i’m glad we broke the ice here. tomorrow i will tell you about more about Lysine, wedding parties and crippled dogs. i promise it’s all true.
